Even with very high vaccination uptake in our patients and staff, the spread of COVID-19 is still having a significant impact on NHS staff absences.
How can I book, cancel or change an appointment.?
Can I walk in to get vaccinated?
- Please visit Find a walk-in COVID-19 vaccination site - NHS (www.nhs.uk) to find your nearest vaccination centre.
How can you help?
• Please be patient, kind and respect our staff who are still working under extreme pressure.
• Get your COVID-19 booster vaccination as soon as possible. Vaccinations are being given at a number of locations, you can book into one of these centers by ringing 119 or by following this link https://www.nhs.uk/.../coro.../book-coronavirus-vaccination/ .
• Continue to follow national guidance about wearing face coverings, social distancing and any other restrictions that are in place.
All children aged 5 (on or before 31 August 2022) and over can get a 1st and 2nd dose of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.
Children who turned 5 on or after 1 September 2022 can only get a 1st and 2nd dose of a COVID-19 vaccine if they’re either:
- at high risk due to a health condition or because of a weakened immune system
- living with someone who has a weakened immune system
Children aged 5 and over with a severely weakened immune system can get an additional primary dose.
